MIVA Updates its Management Centre - Finally.....

After what seems like years of 'discussions' re MIVA's client management centre, it seems they have finally listened and this week we see the launch of a new set of campaign management tools:
"Today MIVA is proud to announce it has launched a comprehensive set of campaign management tools located in the MIVA Ad Center. Together with new tools, MIVA is launching MIVA Match® a new matching feature enabling you to drive more qualified leads to your website.*
The new campaign management tools are designed to provide you greater control over the management of your advertisements and spend by allowing you to group ad listings together into campaigns and then applying schedules and budgets to those campaigns.
Our goal was to help you save time and money by:
- Simplifying the management of ad listings within groups.
- Automating scheduling.
- Tightening the budgeting process.
Key highlights of new campaign management tools include:
- Creation of groups of ad listings into campaigns.
- Creation and management of scheduling for each campaign, including:
- Start and end date (or ongoing)
- Time of day (day parting)
- Days of the week
- Creation and management of budget (spend) for groups of ads or campaigns, including the ability to apply a separate budget to each campaign with a particular spending limit per day or per month".
I have always found MIVA's customer service (person-to-person) fantastic, so hopefully, bringing the management centre inline with the other search engines can only be a good thing - for both MIVA and the client / agency.
