Avoiding the copyright issues that have recently plagued Google the Open Content Alliance  will focus on works that are already in the public domain or where the copyright has expired. The Open Content Alliance (OCA) includes Adobe and HP with collections to be digitised coming from the University of California, and University of Toronto.
